Processed church organs a la carte

Canadian drone-slash-synth musician Tim Hecker has released a new album called Ravedeath, 1972. It is made up of a number of church organ blurps that are cut up, reassembled, looped and processed digitally. It has some poignant decaying qualities, but it never really sounds like the music is going to fall apart. On the contrary I imagine this is what an old beast waking up from its slumber sounds like. Great album!
