This looks and sound very promising! A remix of Mogwai – How to Be a Werewolf from their upcoming record, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will. The remix is made for Antony Crook’s short film Thirty Century Man shot in Norway.

Can’t wait to see the movie and listen to the album.

The movie itself is spectacular, but absolutely not a crowd pleaser. Very arty. As the protagonist is a mute viking thrall (played by Mads Mikkelsen) the dialogue does very little to move the film forward. Instead it heavily relies on the crisp photography to tell the story… but what really struck me is how well the the music fits every scene, displaying the emotions of the main character.

The music is written by Peter Peter (of Sort Sol fame) and Peter Kyed (of Svartbag)

One of the songs from the film’s soundtrack stuck with me. It’s a synthy 80′es track called Digital Versicolor by the duo Glass Candy from their latest record Beat Box.
